DEFINATION OF ORGANIZATIONS

ORGANIZATIONS

"Organisations are social arrangements for achieving controlled performance in pursuit of collective goals”

Reference --(Huczynski, Andrzej and Buchanan, David, (2001) "Organisational Behaviour, An Introductory Text", 4th Edition, Prentice Hall, page 5)

It can be hereby understood that organisations are social arrangements of like minded people who share their information to acheive a similar goal . but this can only be acheived when the organization is able to constantly interact with the world around it as it is said that they do not operate in a vacuum .

Like in an organization there is a group of the head honchos of an organization who sit down and discuss the various aspects in the organization and then they make arrangements in order to fulfill the various aspects and then they set up a particular goal or target and then these arrangements are passed on to the next level that are the managers and then it is passed to the employees who implement those strategies in order to acheive the goal that was set up by the head honchos .
This is a triangle through which the communication is done within the organization to share the knowledge and achieve the desired goal.

Here I can give you an example of a car manufacturing organization that works on the term 'import-transformation-export' here these terms are the basic work like the car plant imports various resources from its envoirnment such as materials, component parts ,storage facilities ,staff to run the factory and the energy to provide heating and lightning and run the machinery , the car plant then transforms these resources in to vehicles which then are exported to a dealer who then sells it to the public .

an Example of such a vehicle manufacturing organization is the HERO HONDA which has a defined goal to be the largest two wheeler organization in South Asia in the next 10 years .

STRATEGY

--->>> This chart shows you how a strategy is implemented
I came across various definations when i was going thru the articles and what i understood as a whole ,is that A STRATEGY IS A LONG TERM PLAN OF ACTION DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE A PARTICULAR GOAL .
Strategies should always be designed in a way so that it should be able to acheive competitive advantages over other organizations when they are put in to use or you can even say when they are used in context with a particular organization.
In the field of business administration, "strategic consistency" is when the actions of an organization are consistent with the expectations of management, and these in turn are consistent with the market and the context of the concerned organization that is using the strategy .
Yes strategic consistency is of utmost importance for any organization like THE A-TEAM in order to cope up with the changing situations for an organizations i feel that we should have strategies that can cope with the changes ,that is of utmost importance.

example>>> I remeber wen i was previously workin with an organization called ebizelindia.com in the network marketing field we always use to have a strategy that was made by our team members in order to acheive a particular goal like we were suppose to give presentations in order to enrol more people in the organization so we made a strategy that we have to start giving follow ups after presentation as if der is any doubt regarding the presentation given ,and then it was taken by a more experienced team member in order to motivitate the listeners and to sell the product at a faster rate this was our strategy in order to gain more profits.

WEEK 1

Its my first group discussion with my group members in the K.M.S module . Today we have discussed about the goals and the research that we are suppose to carry on for our organization that is THE A-TEAM .

We
have also discussed what is an Organization? And what is a Strategy ? Today we will also be presenting our work in the seminar.

WEEK 0

It was mine first week in the U.K ,and like every newstudent ,i was too felling damn home sick and was a little upset.

Then came my first lecture in the K.M.S module and it was an hour long session where we were introduced to the module ,and frankly speaking I was quite surprised as our module leader MR Abubaker said that there are no materials for this module ,and as i belong from India the pattern there is completely different as there we have loads of notes that we have to mugg up unfortunately for all the students .

This was a new concept for me. I was asked to make blogs about me and then a group was formed between 6 of us which is called as an organization .The name of our organization is (THE A-TEAM ).and named by the module leaders as The Egoists .
